--UPDATE: 14th Nov 10:35 ALL UPDATED COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY AND ALL SERVICES BACK ONLINE AS EXPECTED --
NOTICE OF SCHEDULED DOWNTIME: VPS20/21/22/23/24
WHEN: Saturday 14th November between 08:00 - 16:00
RATING: LOW impact, Medium Risk
AFFECTED SYSTEMS: All hosted database platforms
DESCRIPTION: As the current version of MySQL database is shortly coming to the end of its life. We must upgrade our platforms to version 5.7
Whilst we do not expect any impact, we would ask that all users that are running databases on their hosting that any applications, such as WordPress, are updated to ensure they continue to work with MySQL 5.7.
A full back up of all databases will be taken at 02:00 on Sat 14th, if any complications are encountered we will restore back to 02:00am, therefore please note any database changes made after this time would be lost. Therefore we are asking customers not to apply any changes to databases after 02:00 where ever possible. Whilst this situation is remote, we must explain this could occur if the process has to be reversed.
As we will also be upgrading our own hosting server, this will also impact on the CloudTree website and MyCloudTree Customer Support portal. Please note that support will not be investigating any individual tickets raised during the maintenance window. This is to ensure we can focus on getting the upgrade completed in a timely fashion for all customers. If you still continue to experience issues after 16:00 on Saturday then please contact us via the normal routes, where we will then be able to investigate. It should be noted that unless you are subscribed to a managed website package any support to upgrade/amend your website would be chargeable under our PayAsYouGo support model.
